Friends of FMP constitution
Membership of The Friends of Forster Memorial Park (FoFMP) is open to all individuals and organisations who have an interest in the park.
Membership is free. By being a member you are demonstrating that you care about this wonderful park. We encourage our members to become involved in activities relating to the park, such as those described on this website. You will also receive our email newsletter from time to time, be invited to join the Facebook group and invited to our Annual General Meeting and other meetings.
The process to join is straightforward. You need to be aged 16 years or more and agree with the objectives of FoFMP (These are set out in our constitution): “To represent and protect the interests of users of the park..” You do not need to live in the immediate area.
To apply to be a member, complete the form below and click ‘submit’. We will ask you for your name, email address, to confirm that you are aged 16 years and that you assent to the objectives of FoFMP. Your details will be kept confidential and secure.
All applications are passed to two members of the committee who will then confirm your membership by email. We aim to reply within two weeks.
We are aiming to ask all members to renew their membership every two years so that the membership list remains current.
