Every year millions of small warbler birds arrive from Africa to breed in the UK. The most common are Chiffchaff and Blackcap; but in Lewisham in 2022 a minimum of five different species were recorded in the borough.
We will be carrying out a survey on Saturday 11th May, along a stretch of the Waterlink Way and Forster Memorial Park. You can be a complete beginner with no prior knowledge of birdwatching to take park.
On Saturday 11th May meet at 8am in Forster Memorial Park by the cafe (near Longhill Road entrance).

12 noon | Finishes |
There will also be an introductory meeting at 11am on Sunday 14th April – venue to be finalised – you do not have to attend this to come along on 11th May.
